William Shatner is 100% on the money! Learning how to fly a Powered Paraglider (PPG) with an instructor is necessary to get your license - for your safety and to increase your enjoyment of our sport. Canadian Powered Paragliding has a Transport Canada authorized Chief Flying Instructor (CFI). That means we sign off the practical portion on all Student and Ultra Light Pilot licenses at the school. As well, our instructors are qualified to administer the written P-Star test locally.

Our Training Schedule
Our courses are scheduled as required. We know that your not always available on the week ends or week days. Our courses are tailored to you. They start when you're available. Classes during week days are usually one on one training. To provide the best possible training results, we try to limit class size to no more than 2 students per course. While this cuts down on volume, it allows the flight instructor to monitor everyone activities, provides an added degree of safety and insures maximum hands on participation by the student. The ground school is started On-Line and completed at the airfield. This allows us to spend that valuable time saved providing you extra hands on experience.
